Job Summary
Join our Financial Crime Compliance team and play a key role in protecting the bank from financial crime risks. As an Associate Director, FCC Investigations, you will lead complex investigations into suspicious activity, support regulatory reporting, provide expert guidance on AML and sanctions matters, and contribute to the enhancement of monitoring, screening, and compliance controls across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and conduct investigations into potential money laundering, sanctions breaches, fraud, and other financial crime risks
Review and manage suspicious activity cases and support regulatory reporting where required.
Investigate sanctions, KYC, and PEP alerts in line with regulatory requirements
Provide guidance to stakeholders on financial crime regulations, risks, and best practices.
Support the enhancement of FCC controls, systems, monitoring, and screening processes.
Contribute to system implementation, model validation, and oversight of outsourced activities.
Collaborate with local, regional, and global stakeholders to strengthen the bank’s financial crime risk management framework.
Qualifications
4–6+ years of experience in Financial Crime Compliance, AML, investigations, or sanctions within banking or financial services
Strong knowledge of AML, CTF, sanctions, KYC, and regulatory requirements
Experience conducting complex investigations and preparing high-quality case document ation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the enhancement of controls, efficiency, and overall compliance effectiveness.
Fluent German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with regulators and senior stakeholders.
Professional certifications in financial crime compliance, such as CAMS, ICA Diploma, CCP, or comparable qualifications, are strongly preferred.
