gether, and who understands building under conditions of scarce re-
sources and multiple challenges also as a design opportunity.
The professorship teaches the fundamentals of building construction and
develops innovative concepts and methods of resource-conscious build-
ing, digital fabrication, craftsmanship, serial construction, and building
within the existing, integrating them into architectural design.

ship cooperates with other research institutions whose technical innova-
tions can be shaped into new constructions and building methods.

studios, elective courses, and research-oriented teaching in the Bache-
lor’s and Master’s programs in Architecture and Urban Planning.
Prerequisites are a completed university degree in Architecture and a

torate of outstanding quality and/or by an outstanding, internationally rec-
ognized body of architectural work that is pioneering for sustainable
building construction. Pedagogical skills are expected; evidence of teach-
ing achievements should be enclosed with the application documents.
