The overall difficulty I'd say was moderate to slightly difficult. Technical Interview (First Interview Round) In this round, most of the questions asked were technical in nature. Both levered and unlevered How to calculate the discount rate which we will use to discount future cash flows? What are Investment Banks? What's Buy Side vs. Sell Side? How will you allocate your portfolio, given the current inflation scenario (we talked about current inflation levels for a while) Guesstimate Round What will be the average total daily water usage (residential only) within 1 KM of the area where you live? Finally the end of the interview Round 1. 2nd Interview Round It was a mix of HR + Technical Questions. Introduction General/HR Questions Why Finance? What do you know about the Services we offer? What do you understand about your role from the JD? What are your future plans? Fine with long working hours? Technical Questions What is Private Equity? What's a DCF model? How to arrive at FCF from NI, EBIT, and EBITDA (lost my way with EBITDA but the interviewer was helpful)? How do you narrow down on an investment (Take me through the process)?
