I’m super excited to share that I have cracked Siemens and secured a Developer Internship for one year.
This journey was filled with semi-sleepless nights, relentless hard work, and a mix of smart work. I want to walk you through how I cracked it!
Round 1: Shortlisting
📌60 students shortlisted from 250 for the Technical Online Assessment after resume screening.
💡Tip: Craft a resume tailored to the JD.
Round 2: Technical Online Assessment (OA) through HackerEarth
📌The OA consisted of:
✅15 Aptitude MCQs + 5 OOPS MCQs
✅2 Coding Questions (Medium-Level LeetCode Difficulty)
I solved both coding questions completely and answered 15+ correct MCQs out of 20.
Within 3 days, I was informed that I was shortlisted for the physical interview at Siemens, Hyderabad.
Round 3: Technical Interview 1 (1hr 10min)
📌Resume Discussion:
Explained my projects, tech stack, architecture, and unique features.
📌DSA & Java:
Pseudo-code for Sorting Algorithms
Trees: Dry-run & trace the logic
Java Concepts: Lambda expressions (use case-based)
📌Spring Boot & AWS:
AWS: Discussed EC2 instance failure and how to prevent it using Auto Scaling Services.
Spring Boot: Asked to connect Java SDK with MySQL driver without using Spring Boot/MERN stack.
✅Result: Cleared and moved to the next round after 20 minutes of waiting.

Round 4: Technical Interview 2 (55min)
📌Discussion on Projects & Leadership
Explained project schema, normalization of tables, DBMS concepts
Spoke about my leadership journey with RUBIX Club at KL University
📌DSA - Favorite Data Structure (Trees)
Wrote pseudo-code for BT, BST, Heap Tree
Discussed time complexities of insertion & deletion
💡Tip: If you get stuck, explain your thinking process. The interviewers are more interested in your approach than just the correct answer.
Round 5: Managerial + HR Interview (1hr)

OOPS Concepts & DBMS Queries
Solved 2 Puzzles + 1 Probability-Based Aptitude Question
📌Behavioral Questions:
"Why Siemens?" and other role-based questions
💡Tip: Prepare some behavioral questions beforehand. Also, if you have any doubts about the role, this is the perfect time to clarify them.
✅Result: Selected! After 3 days, I got selected!!
