I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at RTX (Tewksbury, MA) in Jan 2020
Interview
I was invited to a Raytheon hiring event where I interviewed with two sets of interviewers for different teams. All of the interviewers were friendly and actually showed interest in my previous projects/experience.

Question 1
Can you think of one time you had to solve a problem given to you through unorthodox means or by thinking outside of the box?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at RTX (Andover, MA) in Dec 2019
Interview
Over 20 various LinkedIn contacts by their HR, many redundant, and in as short a timespan as 2 weeks from the same recruiter. Majority of those ghosted me within the same or next day. One did follow through with approx. 30 to 45 minute phone screening, as we reviewed my experience outlined on my resume, and then mainly discussing the status of Raytheon, lots of projects, in need of staffing. Said he'd circulate my resume, and never heard from them again.

Question 1
Being as this interview was solely with Raytheon's HR, the questions ran on two threads, tell me about this position, and this position and this position as he walked through my resume. He then asked about my range of interest in positions and salary and commuting requirements and if I were open to relocating (Raytheon's in many locations).
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at RTX
Interview
I started by being invited to a 3 day hiring event after an initial ~5 minute interview at a job fair. At this event you are given the opportunity to meet and greet with hiring managers in a large variety of departments with the opportunity to get an interview for multiple positions.
Depending on the departments you are invited to interview with, there can be a mix of behavioral and technical questions. In my hiring process, I interviewed for 3 positions, and all were behavioral, with one (Guidance and Control) having basic technical questions.
They’re just looking to make sure you have a good work ethic, an acceptable background, and can adapt efficiently to new situations.
