I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (Ann Arbor, MI) in Jan 2022
Interview
First round was a coding interview, and the second round was a systems interview (not system design, but rather unix based operating systems)
The coding round was quite basic, similar to leetcode easy, and a question on manipulating files and parsing data.
The systems interview is a holistic approach to gauging the candidate's knowledge of a unix operating system, with topics including but not limited to files, processes, signals, shell, memory, etc
An online questionnaire with American questions and then a technical interview at the company with a number of questions that examine thinking. No programming knowledge is required for this stage
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Meta in Dec 2021
Interview
The first round is a questionnaire about basic linux and network knowledge. The second round is a coding interview, I got two questions. One is to split an array so that the sum is the same for two partitions. The other is to read two csv files then calculate base on the data in these two files.
