Meta Software Engineer (Ios Developer) interview questions

Facebook is biased in favor of people who have worked at big corporations and this comes across inevitably in interviews when they ask for deep personal insights about work predicaments that largely don't arise in startups. They also ask about what type of leader you prefer to work for, and if say you don't prefer a stubborn egotistical boss then that kind of honesty will disqualify you.

Coderpad interview with a Facebook engineer. Engineer seemed like I was wasting his time through the whole process. He was a young guy and FB was his first job right out of college. First I was asked about my work experience but then they cut me off as I was talking and said "lets just move on to the technical questions". The interviewer just pasted a question into coderpad. It seemed like he was seeing the question for the first time also. He did a pretty bad job of explaining it. It was extremely specific to CGpoints and rendering of views. It was a problem I had never encountered before. I honestly feel like these interviews are completely based on luck. If you get a good person you will pass.It's my third time interviewing here and I have passed the phone interviews twice before but unfortunately I got somebody that I felt was condescending. Afterwards I was asked one algorithm question it was a leetcode medium. I got the brute force answer but before I could improve I ran out of time.
