There are three rounds interview, 30 - 45 mins for each rounds. They asked basic optical questions, such as optical alignment, failure analysis, point spread function (PSF), modulation transfer function (MTF), optical aberration, working experience based on your CV.

Do you have any experience using optical system design software such as Zemax, Code V?
The Meta optical engineering interview typically combines core optics fundamentals with practical design and system-level problem solving. Also python. Evaluated on their understanding of imaging, wave optics, , along with their ability to communicate ideas clearly, analyze trade-offs, and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
Recruiter call was conducted by phone and they arranged the technical interview schedule. It took a week to have an interview. Technical interview was a common question and conversation based on the job position

I had interview with the hiring manger. I meet all the requirements and answered all the questions but didn't get the second round interview! the interviewer was nice and admitted that my knowledge fit with the job.
