I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at HomeGoods (Albuquerque, NM) in Jun 2019
Interview
It went really well. They made you feel very comfortable and welcome. They do have a paper that they kind of grade you on. They will ask you questions about yourself.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at HomeGoods (New York, NY) in Aug 2019
Interview
They are building a brand new store in my area and so they were having a job fair at a local hotel. I saw a ad about the job fair on indeed.com. So a few day's later I went to the job fair and I had to sign in. Then they interviewed me and then after the interview they had me fill out the application. Which I thought was strange since normally most places would have you fill out the application first. During the interview the lady who was interviewing me had to stop it to take a phone call which I thought was rude on her part. Then after I filled out the application they said that they would be calling my references (which they did that same exact day) and that they would let me know if I get to move on in the process. So I had the interview on a Thursday then on Saturday (2 day's later) they were calling me with the job offer. I would of took it if the position was fulltime with benefits. The same lady who interviewed me was the one who gave me the offer and she told me that the position is minimum wage part time with no benefits. Which I was annoyed about that since I have almost 5 year's of retail experience and you would figured that they would at least offer me a better starting pay rate but clearly they don't care about your experience at all
