Question 1
Como me veia de aqui a 5 años, expectativas de sueldo, conocimientos
I interviewed in 2019. They said it's a 3-4 week process but the process went on for over 2 months. The first round was a coding online assessment. It was pretty easy. It covered basic DS and Algorithms. I was given a date and asked for a time-slot for the second and final round Skype interview after 3 weeks. They also said they'll send me a case study in the week of the interview and asked me to work on it. However, they didn't send me anything nor did they confirm the interview. In spite of leaving mails throughout the week of the interview, I didn't get a response. After 2 weeks, the recruiter reached out to me asking for job specific details (Visa status, salary expectations etc) and an updated resume. I sent that and no reply again. After repeatedly following up, the recruiter finally responded after another week with the same email asking for the same details. I once again sent it and waited. No response. After another two weeks, I mailed the recruiter once again and finally I got a reply saying they don't sponsor F1 students.
Now, had they let me know that before, I would have been fine with it but I just didn't like the way they treated me (as an F1-OPT student, it's already pretty stressful finding a job). Inviting for an interview and then having a no-show nor responding to emails etc is pretty disappointing.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capgemini
Interview
Was contacted by a recruiter, immediately followed up with recruiter, recruiter proceeded to read my resume incorrectly and assumed I couldn't make the most recent deadline. I again immediately responded and told him I could start right away, not to mention I was only getting one response a day during this conversation. I have sent THREE follow up emails since and have not gotten one single response back. It seems my opportunity was completely voided because of an incompetent recruiter.
