Very good interview, well impressed, no trouble with questions and all went well which was totally great and I do not understand why so many words are required here. Its a bit mad yunno but it is what it is.
I applied online. I interviewed at Broadcom (Plano, TX)
Interview
Pretty easy Zoom interview, mix of technical (only two coding questions to be verbally described) and behavioral. Interviewers were nice and helped nudge me in the right direction when my answers to technical were slightly off. Focus was mostly on behavioral to see if I was a good fit for their team since interns are not expected to know as much as higher level positions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe how to get to the middle of a linked list with O(n) time and a single traversal.
The interviewer seemed dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the process. Questions were vague, time was poorly managed, and their attitude felt disrespectful, leaving a negative impression of Broadcom’s hiring culture. I solved the LeetCode question correctly and clearly explained my thought process, yet the interviewer dismissed me entirely, assuming incompetence just because I described a single edge case incorrectly.
