I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Booking.com (Moskau, ) in Aug 2014
Interview
Applied on workingatbooking.com several times during the summer 2014.Finally got an invitation for the interview in the office by the phone. The atmosphere is relaxing in the early morninig in the office.
A guy from the main hall called me and showed the special writing test on PC. It is consist of 5 pieces:
1. Commercial Hotel Description and Photo Select (you must re-wright the current descpription and choose main photo in the collection and describe your choice. 2. Custom Driven Content (Sorry guys, didn`t remember this part). 3. Room Description (4 types of rooms, to describe each one in their markуrting role (bussiness, family, boutique, standard). 4.Change Request (Hoy can deal with hotels request about changing information, how you will answer to them) 5. Proof reading (Find all mistakes in the description).
The key idea - is to check your English Writing Skills that you will use for content editor work.
And you must show easy average style suitable for all types of English-reading readers.
The time limit is 1 hour and 15 min.
Then you invited for the interview in English, no more than 15 min and you can show your speaking English style.
Cup of coffee is a bonus.
Don`t afraid of anything. You must do it and check your abilities.
And you will get an answer in neary future....

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Booking.com (Budapest) in Jul 2014
Interview
The interview had two stages (for me at least). The first stage was a computer test at their office in Budapest. They had us do 5 tasks, they were all translation and editing type of tasks. The second stage was an interview. I didn't get a call back for another round so I'm not sure what other stages there could have been.
