Interview
I interviewed for a Procurement Specialist role at BASF and went through two interview rounds.
The first interview with the hiring manager was quite formal and structured. It felt like there was a strong focus on covering specific questions and criteria, which was a bit different from other interviews I’ve had. That said, the interviewers were professional and friendly throughout.
The second round, a peer interview with team members, was much more relaxed and conversational. I really appreciated this part of the process, as it gave me a better sense of the team and working environment. It left me with a very positive impression of both the role and the people, and I felt quite excited about the opportunity afterwards.
However, the follow-up process was disappointing. After the second interview, I didn’t receive any update for two weeks, nor was a clear timeline communicated. I eventually reached out myself, and only then received a generic rejection email a few days later, without any feedback.
Given the time and effort invested in two interview rounds, I would have appreciated more timely communication and at least some brief, personalised feedback. The lack of follow-up unfortunately affected my overall impression of what had otherwise been a positive interview experience.

Interview
After an online application I received a Call from HR asking some easy questions and to propose an interview face to face.
First interview with HR and second with two team leaders.
