ADP Outside Sales Representative interview questions

I applied online and a recruiter called me back within a couple days to hold a phone interview on the spot. From there she passed me along to an interview with the regional VP and then I had a field ride with one of the outside sales reps with a role play with one of the sales executives immediately after. The final interview was with the regional VP again and they made me an offer within a couple days.

I had been contacted by a recruiter regarding the position. The interview went well and was passed along to a recruiter for the company in which a 30 minute phone interview was conducted. She approved of me and passed me along to the next stage which was a field ride which gave me an undertanding of the company. The next step was a 1 on 1 interview with the Sales Manager which went well. 3 days later I was contacted and offered the position and was scheduled to fill out paper work in the next 48 hours. The day of the paperwork completion the Sales Manager contacted me and stated they had changed their mind and want to go another route. I have never been given a job offer and have the company turn around and take it away.
